Margaret C. Fahey, PhD
Dr. Fahey is an assistant professor at MTSU and licensed clinical psychologist. She received her clinical psychology doctoral degree from The University of Memphis and completed her postdoctoral training at the Medical University of South Carolina. Her program of research focuses broadly on addressing aging-related health disparities by promoting behavioral health in later life through digital platforms. Her research interests include tobacco cessation treatment, the use of cannabis for medical symptom management, and health technology engagement among older adults.
Graduate Students​

Lauryn Ross
Lauryn Ross is pursuing her master’s degree in clinical psychology at MTSU. She is currently training in the administration of neuropsychological evaluations and is actively involved in behavioral health and sensory research on campus. Lauryn received a Graduate Student Research Award at the Tennessee Psychological Association Annual Convention in October 2024.

Alexa Summersill
Alexa Summersill is pursuing her master’s degree in clinical psychology at MTSU. Alexa's research experiences have focused on how personal beliefs impact science education and communication, and she has presented at 8 national and local conferences. Her current research interests include eating disorders and body image among men and LGBTQ+ populations.
